Contemporary British Art

susan bower born 1953

about the artist Susan Bower

After graduating in biology and psychology Susan Bower pursued her commitment to painting and was taught by fellow Yorkshire artist William Selby. She took up painting professionally in 1985 and has developed her own painterly interpretation of witty observations from her experience of family life, hers and others. The rest is fantasy.

Exhibits regularly at the Academy Summer Exhibition.

Elected member of the Royal Institute of Oil Painters and The Royal Society of British Artists
