Rosemary Vanns has belatedly entered the fine art world, a circuitous and interrupted route having been taken via nursing, single motherhood and textile design. Since she has been able to commit herself full time to art, her work has developed rapidly; making up for lost time.

A sense of urgency reflected in new techniques needing to be mastered and subject matter tried and tested.
