about Jim Malone

Jim Malone born 1946.

Malone's inspiration came at Camberwell from tutors including Ian Godfrey, Ewan Henderson and Colin Pearson gaining invaluable experience working with Ray Finch at the Winchcombe pottery in the holidays. The experience was invaluable, wood stacking, packing the kiln and with time to produce his own pots in the evenings. His commitment to, and vision for, that way of life was clear and he graduated from Camberwell with a first class honours degree. His commitment to Ceramics has continued ever since.

His pots can be found in collections around the world including the V&A; Ulster Museum, Ireland; Manchester Metropolitan University; Liverpool Museum and Art Gallery.
